Start your adventure at Machame Gate, entering the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro. Trek through towering trees, diverse birdlife, and a vibrant ecosystem. The climb is steady but enjoyable, providing a great opportunity to acclimatize. Camp overnight at Machame Camp and enjoy a hearty dinner prepared by your expert cooks.

Today, you leave the rainforest behind and ascend onto the open moorlands. Enjoy stunning views of Kilimanjaro’s slopes, and watch the landscape change dramatically as you gain altitude. Shira Camp offers spectacular sunset views and a chance to rest well before the more challenging days ahead.

Ascend to the Lava Tower for crucial altitude acclimatization, gaining impressive views from 4,630 meters. After spending some time at this high point, you descend to Barranco Camp, a scenic spot nestled at the foot of the Barranco Wall. Rest well tonight as tomorrow you will face one of the more challenging parts of the climb.
Today’s highlight is the famous Barranco Wall, a steep but manageable rock face climb. This rewarding challenge offers breathtaking panoramic views. After conquering the wall, trek to Karanga Camp for a well-deserved rest. Prepare for the approach to the summit base camp in the next days.

Climb higher into the alpine desert environment as you make your way to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. This day involves a strenuous hike through rocky terrain but rewards you with spectacular views. Rest early tonight to gather strength for the final summit push.

The most demanding day begins with a midnight start for the summit attempt. Trek slowly through cold, thin air to reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise — the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your incredible achievement before descending to Mweka Camp for rest and recovery.

Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, marking the end of your climb. Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha for relaxation and celebration of your unforgettable Kilimanjaro adventure.
